Pivot Point was a small art gallery in Old North Knoxville, Tenn. Emory Place, a vibrant and growing community, was the cornerstone of this project. Our goal was to build on that momentum by creating a welcoming experience both online and in the gallery.

As the gallery assistant, I greeted visitors, tracked statistics, and managed inventory on the website and in the gallery. I also managed the gallery’s social media presence on Instagram and Facebook. The owners wanted the content to be more dynamic, so I used Canva to manage content and create engaging graphics that reflected the gallery’s visual style.

The collection featured national, regional, and local art, with many local artists actively promoting the gallery. My primary goal was to engage with those artists and amplify their voices. Their participation was an important part of the gallery’s community and helped shape my approach to its social media and digital communications.
