About

My Photo

IMy name is Allison Roberts, and I’m a Knoxville-based creative with a passion for using art, storytelling, and digital strategy to strengthen communities.

At my core, I’m an artist. Photography is my primary medium, though I’ve also found painting deeply rewarding. That creative mindset shapes how I approach every project.  I enjoy solving complex problems, designing intuitive workflows, and translating information into engaging visual experiences. I’m naturally curious, hands-on, and persistent, always looking beneath the surface to understand how something works and how it can work better.

I’ve lived in Knoxville all my life, and I think it’s one of the best places to live. There are other places I’d consider, such as the Asheville, North Carolina, area or the Shenandoah Valley. I live a cozy life in a small house in South Knoxville, surrounded by adventure and love. It’s incredible how quickly a decision can change your life, and I’m looking forward to the next chapter.

I love being outside, using my hands and creating. I enjoy making, seeing, and talking about art. I love painting, books, photography, gardening and cooking—but not doing the dishes. I also enjoy floating, hooping, swimming, disc golf and hiking.

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, Media, and 4D Art, followed by a master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Information from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I’m excited to bring together my creative background, digital strategy expertise, and passion for community engagement to help organizations tell meaningful stories, strengthen their digital presence, and build lasting connections.
